Your opportunity to vote YES on new open space in Danville is closer than ever!
It’s as simple as this: YES on Y and YES on Open Space means more open space for Danville families and a brighter future for all of us. Last summer the Danville Planning Commission and the Danville Town Council both overwhelmingly approved the one-of-a-kind Magee Preserve Project and, with it, nearly 400 acres of new permanent public open space. What does that mean for Danville families? New open space, breathtaking views never before accessible to the public, miles of new trails for bikers, hikers and their dogs, and new safer options to Diablo Road for walkers and cyclists. And all of it at no cost to taxpayers.
No wonder YES on Y, YES on Open Space is supported by so many of the local and neighborhood leaders Danville families trust, like Save Mount Diablo, East Bay Regional Park District, and everyone of Danville’s major bike groups, including Bike East Bay, Mount Diablo Cyclists, Valley Spokesmen Bicycle Club, and the leaders of the San Ramon Valley Mountain Bike Club.
Your chance to vote YES — along with the Danville Town Council — on new open space and a stronger future for Danville is closer than ever. On March 3, 2020, Danville citizens will have their say to vote YES and make this open space for Danville families forever!
